Reading this site means accepting the terms below. They are short, and they mostly describe what an editorial publication is and is not.

1. Purpose of this site
The Night Notebook is an editorial publication about Android games that are available on Google Play. It publishes one ranking, a written method, a small journal and the legal pages you are reading. It is not a store, not a download service, not a directory and not a support channel for any game. Nothing on this site is offered for sale, and no transaction of any kind takes place here.
2. Our scores are opinion
Every score, placement and comment on this site is the editorial judgement of our desk. It is commentary, not advice, and it is deliberately not the star average shown on Google Play; the two answer different questions and should be read together. Our procedure and its limits are described in how we rate. Nothing here should be treated as a recommendation to buy, install or spend anything, and any decision you take remains yours.
3. Store data and accuracy
Ratings, review totals, download figures, prices and genre labels quoted on this site are copied from each game's own Google Play listing at the moment our reviewers recorded them. Listings change without notice: prices move, purchase ranges change, permissions are added, games are withdrawn. The listing is always the authority and this site is always a copy, so check the listing before relying on any figure you read here. We correct figures when we notice a change or when a reader tells us about one, and corrections are dated.
4. No software distribution
We do not host, mirror, package, modify or distribute any application or game file. There is nothing on this site to acquire. Every game we cover is reached through a link to its own public listing on Google Play, where distribution, pricing, refunds and updates are handled by Google and the game's developer under their terms, not ours.
5. Outgoing links and third parties
Links to Google Play open in a new tab and are marked so search engines do not read them as endorsements. Once you leave this domain, the terms and privacy practices of the destination apply and we have no control over its content, availability or behaviour. We accept no responsibility for third-party services, and a link is not a warranty about anything found at the other end of it.
6. Intellectual property
The editorial text, scores, page structure, stylesheet and script on this site are the work of Good Neighbor Labs Co. LLC. You may quote a short passage with a visible credit and a link to the page it came from. Republishing an entire page, an entire ranking, or a substantial portion of the editorial text without written permission is not permitted, and neither is systematic scraping of the site.
7. Trademarks and third-party material
Google Play and the Google Play logo are trademarks of Google LLC. The Night Notebook is an independent editorial publication and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC. Game titles, logos and screenshots belong to their respective developers and publishers; screenshots are reproduced in small illustrative form for the purpose of editorial comment, and all rights remain with their owners. If you hold rights in material shown here and want it removed, write to editorial@goodneighborlabsco.com and we will act promptly.
8. Acceptable use
Use this site for reading. Do not attempt to interfere with its operation, probe it for vulnerabilities, place automated load on it, or present its content as your own. Do not use our name or wording in a way that implies we endorse a product, a developer or a service, because we endorse none.
9. No warranty
The site is provided as it is. We make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or complete, and we make no warranty that a game described here will behave on your device the way it behaved on ours. Hardware, operating system version, storage, connection quality and store availability all vary by reader.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Good Neighbor Labs Co. LLC is not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site or from reliance on anything published here, including a decision to install or purchase a game, a figure that has changed since we recorded it, or the conduct of any third-party service reached through a link. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Changes to these terms
These terms may be revised. The current version always appears on this page with the date of the last revision at the top, and material changes will be visible in the text rather than folded in silently. Continuing to use the site after a revision means the revised terms apply to your visit.
12. Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the applicable federal law of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Where local consumer law gives you stronger rights, those rights are unaffected.
